 How to Order

Orders can be placed online through our website or by phoning us on (06) 8703172. We welcome your calls to place orders or for advice on products.



Pick Up's


You are welcome to place an order on the website and pick up in person - simply select store pick up as the shipping method at checkout.  Pick up's can be made from our retail store from 10 am - 4pm Monday to Friday and 9.30 am - 1 pm on Saturday.
We are located at 113 Heretaunga Street East, Hastings, opposite the movie theatre.




New Zealand Delivery


We deliver throughout New Zealand using couriers, and need a physical street address or business address to deliver to (no PO boxes). Standard courier delivery charge is $7.50. Orders over $200 are sent free of charge, and there is no charge for delivery of gift vouchers.

Targeted delivery times after your payment has cleared our account is as follow:

North Island 1-2 working days
South Island 2-3 working days
Rural delivery addresses may take an extra 2-3 days as they will be handed over from the couriers to your rural delivery driver for delivery. Please note these are targeted delivery times only, and can sometimes take longer which is beyond our control.



We use signature required couriers, if you wish to have your parcel left without a signature, or have special delivery instructions, please advise us in the comments section when placing your order. Please note that if you request your parcel to be left without a signature, and it is stolen, we will not replace.  We can lodge a claim with the couriers, but this does take time, and we will not take responsibilty, nor will we replace or refund until the claim process is finialised.



International Delivery

We do deliver to international addresses.  Payment for all international orders must be done via paypal unless otherwise arranged.

International delivery costs do vary depending on weight and size of parcel, and country it is being delivered to.  We have a standard $26 delivery charge in built at checkout for international delivery.  Most often the cost will be more, which we will calculate once your order has been packed and weighed at post office.  We will then notify you with the shipping methods, delivery times, and additional costs, and will request the remaining amount be paid through paypal before your order is dispatched.


International Delivery Terms and Conditions.

Delivery times are targeted delivery times only and can sometimes take longer. Your countries Customs Department can delay your order from being received, which is beyond our control.   We will not refunded or replace your order if it is delayed beyond our control, or your Customs Department has confiscated any items prohibited from being imported into your country. All taxes, custom fees and duties incurred by your customs department are not included in the shipping cost and are your responsibility.

All aerosol products can not be sent internationally.

We accept bank deposit, internet banking, paypal using your credit card, and credit card payment over the phone for your order.



Bank Deposits/Internet Banking

For bank deposit and internet banking, please ensure you use your order number as the reference on your payment.  Our bank account number is:

Please ensure all payments are made within 7 days of ordering, or you order will be cancelled and stock returned to shelves.



Credit Card

For credit card payments, we use Paypal, a worldwide secure payment processing site, which accepts all major credit cards and guarantees your payment is secure. Anyone with a credit card can use paypal, you do not need to create an account.

We can also manually process your credit card payment, by phoning us at our retail store on (06) 8703172 during shop hours.  Please ensure you have your order number ready when calling.



Gift Vouchers

When you are redeeming gift vouchers please put your barcode on the back of the gift voucher into the comments section at checkout.  We will then email you with the amount remaining to bank/transfer into our account.


 
Returns and Refunds

We pack your order carefully to ensure items do not arrive damaged, but in the event it has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

If a wrong product has been sent, please contact us immediately so we can rectify the problem and send out the correct product.

Please choose your items carefully, and allow yourself enough time for delivery, as we do not refund because you have changed your mind, or your order has not arrived in time (see targeted delivery times above).

If you have received a faulty product, please contact us immediately, and we will need to have the product returned BEFORE we can replace it for you.



Cake Stuff Newsletters

We send out a monthly newsletter that is full of new products, specials and give-aways.  If you are not receiving our newsletter monthly, please check your spam/junk folder, or contact us, as it may be you have entered an incorrect email address, or changed email address and not updated your account with us.

We do hire out cake tins to local Hawkes Bay customers - cost of this is $6 for 3 days, plus a refundable $10 bond on all pans.  We have numerous novelty, character and standard cake tins available to hire.


We do edible image printing from your photo or graphic, cost involved in this and sizes available, can be seen on the customized icing image page.  If you require to send us an image to be printed, please do so to sales@cakestuff.co.nz.  Please ensure all images/photos/graphics are in .jpg format.  We generally require at least 24 hours notice to do an edible image.
